WHO’S HUNGRY??

Friday, January 30th, 2009

This was so cool last year!  It’s great to encourage teamwork and it’s fun to come up with creative ideas!…at least I’ve been told……is your company brave enough?:)

2009 CANSTRUCTION® COMPETITION

Canstruction® combines the competitive spirit of a design/build competition with a unique way to help feed hungry people in Northeast Ohio. Competing teams showcase their talents by designing giant sculptures made entirely out of canned foods, and at the close of the exhibition, all of the food used in the structures will be donated to the Cleveland Foodbank. In 2008 the participating teams donated more than 23,000 pounds of food, and this year’s goal is to increase efforts from last year!

PARTICIPATION IS EASY

Any type of organization is encouraged to participate in the amazing food drive.

THE MOMENT

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

My friend Joyce was trolling the internet and will all the clips of the Swearing In floating around thought THIS one was cool enough to share.  Enjoy.

IS THIS TRUE?

Hi Rebecca,

I know you are an animal lover so I wondering if you can get some coverage on the problem occurring in Old Brooklyn (Cleveland).  There have been at least 5 dog nappings in the past couple of weeks.  Family pets including Pit Bills, Labs and a puppy are being stolen from their owner’s front and back yards.  In one instance, someone took wire cutters and cut out a hole in the fence.  One owner is offering a $1,000 reward for her dog (Donna Parionis).  The owners fear that these dogs are either being trained to fight or used as bait and mauled to death.  Is there any way to get a warning out to the public?  Also, to ask them to call the police if they suspect anything?
