I never (almost never) listen to the radio in the AM. This morning I listened to your station and had to tell you how pleased I was to listen to your comments on Frank Jackson.
As a citizen of and small business owner, I’m tired of watching Frank Jackson do nothing for this city.
I was not born or raised here. I live here because I choose to live here. I love Cleveland.
We need more people asking questions and asking what he’s doing to make this a better city. We need Frank jackson to be held accountable.
I was back in Texas last week. They’re building roads there and we can’t even fix potholes here.
We need more people questioning what’s going on.
Nice job. Thanks
Joe Z

Truly one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. What a great crowd. The energy was amazing! Did you go? What did you think? Post a comment. Thanks to the band for putting on such a fabulous good time!

Am I the only person who likes going to the dentist?! I got fillings yesterday and look at this thing in my mouth? The ladies were all makin’ me laugh and it was a riot as they tried to decipher what the heck I was trying to say, cause yes, I did try to have a conversation. You just can’t shut me up!

Thanks Janet, Melissa, Carrie, Nora……and of course Jerry at Dr. Faists office!! you guys are a LOL!

Chachi would NOT stop licking me! He was so cute and sweet and a wonderful example of how not ALL pitts are bad dogs. Chachi was sweet, got along with other dogs and people and here on the PETS page you can read a wonderful email I got from the President of Love of Pits.
Anyhoo, I was lucky enough to be asked to help out with the Berea Animal Rescue’s Monster Mutt Dash and Howl-O-ween after Party. Too much fun!

Congratulations to all the runners who braved the chill for such a great cause. Helping our hairy homeless. Carolyn ran her first race AND got a medal! Congrats! Thanks to everyone who came out like Laura who entered her doggie in the musical hoops contest!(think musical chairs)

We had many hot dog-bobbing contests, a not-so-wet t-shirt contest and of course a costume contest. Animal cruelty? YOU decide! LOL. Here is Nixon dressed as Ellie May Campett……..

More kisses from Chachi…….soooooo cute!

In case you are curious, I’ll run down, as quickly as I can, all that Kimberly (the makeover specialist) did for me.Cream ConcealerLiquid foundation….and this she put on very lightly and not over my entire face. Just the splotchy parts.Translucent powder……..Eye shadow primer(too keep it from creasing)……….then she put on a pale gold on the inside and a plum on the outside. The darker color usually goes on the outside to make your eye really pop!Black eyelinerKimberly used a shimmery eye shadow base as a highlighter on the inner eyes and cheeks. She then finished with a light bronzer with a pink hue on the edges of my face. If you can imagine, she drew somewhat of a number 3 from my forhead to chin on each side.

So the Fabulous Food show is coming in November and the first night, Friday, there will be a competition of sous chefs. The preliminary rounds are going on every Monday and last night I was asked to be one of the judges. It was between Crop Bistro and Pier W. It was TOUGH!!

We were at Trevarrow’s in Parma and my fellow judges were Joe Crea and Karen Sandstrom both from the Plain Dealer. They clearly know more than I at judging food, but I gave it my best shot!

Yes it was a lot of eating but this competition was serious and close. Pier W ended up winning by 4 points! They move onto the next round. The finals will be judged by Cleveland’s own Michael Simon. Don’t miss it, I won’t!
Micah was SO my wingman last night…….talk about a trooper, sitting there watching me eat for 3 hours…….poor guy!
